The ever-living ghost of what once was
Friends: Eden is hardly what one would describe as a ''people person'' and thus has a hard time making friends and opening up. The few people she considers her friends are usually those she has had the chance to fight alongside - according to her, there is no greater bond of trust and respect than that between comrades on a battlefield.
Enemies: Eden has shown a certain kind of hostility towards her Easterling roots whenever anything related is mentioned, feeling the need to separate herself from that side of her ancestry mainly due to the affiliation with the Dark Lord. Even though she considers the word 'enemy' too absolute for a world that rarely is black and white, she despises tyrannical authority figures and opressors of any kind.
Lovers: As it has already been mentioned, Eden is usually too guarded to form meaningful personal relationships. That's why she occupies herself with casual flings whenever she likes and with whomever she likes.

Nyx & Eden: I hesitate to throw my talking Warg into many situations, because she's antagonistic herself :) but if you want either a tense talk where they both try to get out of it without it resulting in a fight, or a scuffle where we let them both escape with their lives, I'm up for it!

Harper & Eden: My Hawk skin-changer is another person she could easily run into along her travels, and anywhere along there you think, but during LOTR time-frame works since she is the equivalent of about 17 though she's 80 something. She's also a pretty chipper and happy person so throwing her against Eden's more somber personality could be fun.

Let me know if either of these ideas appeal to you, or feel free to glance over my others, who's profiles are all linked from my oc account here, and if someone else strikes you as better just let me know.

Hello there,
I appreciate the interest. I really liked your OC's, if I had to chose one I'd probably go with Harper as I think it'd be nice to start off with some character development through a chill dialogue before I jump into action scenes. It is indeed very likely that the two will cross paths at some point. What do you think?

I think that works nicely! Any preference for who starts or exact year placement?

I've got a few options that we might be able to work with.

Elrohir: Obviously, Elrohir is a common presence in Rivendell, so there's a possibility for a scene at any time Eden may be passing through. He also travels south with the Grey Company, which could also be an interesting setting for a scene.  Definitely some options here.

Thranduil: As she spends some time in the Woodland Realm, there's also opportunity for Eden to potentially interact with Thranduil.  Though I always offer him up with the full disclaimer that he's not particularly nice and he doesn't suffer fools.  Request him at your own risk.  XD

Eadlyn: Eadlyn is a trader from Rohan.  There is a very, very small window when he's in Dale just after the Battle of the Five Armies.  There's a bit less to work with here, but he's a genuinely nice fellow who might briefly cross Eden's path.

I have a few other assorted Elves and Men, so feel free to browse and if you're interested in any of my others, we can go from there as well!

@Harper,
Exact year placement is not necessary, it could be at the begining of the LotR timeline if you wish. I don't mind starting, unless you have an open thread you'd like to use.

@Whitney,
Thank you for replying. I think I'll dare to go with Thranduil, exactly because it's those traits about him that I value. It could be set after the Battle of Five Armies, during Eden's recovery.

Sounds good to me.  Is there anything we need to chat over before we start with that?

Not necessarly, no. We can go with the flow. Do you have an open thread or would you like me to create one and start?

I don't have any open threads at the moment, so if you want to go ahead and start one, that would be great!

HADES | COMPATABLE CHARACTERS: 4 | THREAD TRACKER

# 1 GINGER
She was definitely a part of the battle of Laketown. She lost her friend Opal in the attack, and after the battle finds herself trying to help rebuild the town. We could have a thread set with them either before or after the battle if you like. :)

# 2 ALTAIR
A teacher that comes before the battle of Laketown, they may meet anywhere between Laketown and Gondor, though he will often be caught in populated areas. A bit pompous, and awkward, but eh!

# 3 OLIVER
A dear thing! I really like playing Ollie, but it's rare that I get the chance. He lives in Laketown, and well, would be more than happy to try drinking her under the table, if she's up for it.

# 4 SAHIB
Oh this poor child has very little play. He's very interested in moving the evil of the world forward, and it could make for some interesting thread. :3

I've got others, if you'd like, and like Gard, we aren't beyond an Alternate Universe thread if there is one that you'd like to have a thread with instead! <3

Hello and thank you for your response,
You have wonderful characters. I believe Sahib x Eden would be a very interesting roleplaying duo because of their Easterling roots. What I'm curious about is his longevity. It's convenient though, since Eden would probably not be able to meet him for several years after the Battle of Five Armies. So perhaps, if you agree, the RP could take place somewhere between the two timelines of Hobbit and LotR, when she had began her travels as a Dunedain. Is that alright?

Aw thanks.  ^_^

Well, he’s half-elven. So that accounts for his longevity. So, really, any timeline would work. Heh. I think this will be interesting; to be redundant. We can place it anywhere we like. I also don’t mind starting the thread if that will make things easier on you.  <3
