  • Marbys: OK, Ari. I think it makes more sense if Ann finds you.

  • Ari: Marbys, I'd like to get a post out for Shadowfax first (in response to Nauroval) but after that, yeah! Either we find you (Annungilel) or you find us, whatever your preference.

I like that idea, it's a good idea. The weapons being taken were never really explained, and certainly needs explaining so yes. I think this revolt should be the reason, although, Adair will be highly upset when his broad sword gets taken! That was his best friend...

After that Bard could start making makeshift weapons out of silly things.... (I'm thankful that toasters weren't around back in them days), and that's why he has all those weapons in his house when the dwarves come around.

So a thread between Sigrid/Adair/Tilda/Bard is in order then! I imagine Adair might be the one to carry Bard back to the home if we run with the idea he saves Adair. Lythil may be involved also. There will also be time for Sigrid/Tilda/Bard threading even Bain could be involved because they'll need a bit of family time during this to decide if they're going to back down.

Welcome to the party - You're more than welcome to join in. I have no issues with this and have added you to the list already! Is there anybody you would like to thread with beside Bard? :)

Like I said, with anyone as needed. Once his father is injured Bain will want to do what he can in his father's place, that includes proving himself to whom ever he needs to. (persistent, the boy is persistent). Naturally family is always a good idea, too. ^^

I'm really so very sorry for taking this long to reply and forgetting to post a LOA for myself and Guiga and Hera when they have asked me to do so while they took care of a health issue in the family. Now that the apology is out of the way, we can get back to the plotting. I'll just say that everyone will be back at the house by next weekend, so it is a great date to kick this off for us if everyone else involved agrees.

As for myself, I don't mind at all to NPC a couple guards besides the Master of Laketown if need be. It should even be fun!!!

As for with whom I'd like to thread as the Master?

Master / Alfrid (because he needs to ploy with his loyal sidekick)
Master / Bard (because he needs to gloat before all hell breaks loose)
Master / Braga (to relay his orders and start the chase)
Master / Lythil (blackmail due to Madoc's actions? He wants info about what's going on. Seems like an idea the Master would have. Alfrid is welcome for this thread too)
Master / Bard's family (because he needs to gloat and be his nasty self)

Anyone else who might want a thread with the Master? I'm total game here!

As for the real weapons debate, as the Master I think I should say something if you allow me. Actually every single city in Middle-Earth has some sort of armory. Laketown is no different, though it might be true and I can see the Master doing it after this revolt that a ban is issued on citizens keeping their own weapons for protection too. So it is totally spot on what Clara has said!!! Just wanted to say that an armory has always existed though.

Thanks to Alagon for the awesome set of graphics!!!!

Sorry I went a little bit MIA guys; personal issues needed dealing with but it's all sorted and done with now, or at least, I hope it is.

Let's relight this plot and start getting some threads out! People can start threading with those that they have requested; they don't need to wait on my to do anything. Once you have posted a thread to do with this plot if you could link it to this thread so we can collect them all! Let's make this the biggest collection of threads directly linked to one plot that THRP has ever seen! It'd make a great impression on the quest side of things don't you think? :)

So those of you that have already requested pair ups - go forth into the world and cause mayhem! For those of you that haven't got anyone paired up with you yet; if you could post here so I can pair you up with someone. Let's get this party started!

Character Name: Castamir.
Role: Castamir would be good planning a revolution, seeing as he was once a general and is a seasoned mercenary. He will be in town right about these days and if he judged the quest worthy of overthrowing the old Master, why then, he'll join.
Notes: A rich-seeming traveller that does not look to be a Lakeman would most definitely draw attention, as he is looking for a place to establish himself in the Laketown market and, he adds to the Matser of Laketown, he is a friend of the Woodland Elves.

Character Name: Leander Boffin.
Role: Well, let's take a look at the FCs in this revolution. Yes, Lee is not Grantaire, or rather, he would become Grantaire in time had he stayed in the Shire. But he didn't. He's a happy Hobbit travelling the land who just about now has come to Laketown with Men friends. And if he hears about madness and revolution...I think that's just begging for my brawl-loving Hobbit to try and aid in any way he can. Hobbits are small, and he could work as a spy...provided he does not drink on the job.
Notes: However, we will have to say that a Hobbit in a small town such as Laketown would cause some attentio, so maybe the secretive jobs would not work very well at first.

I apologize profusely for not replying to this for ages, but I can easily see Kleia getting mixed up in a thread with -

Bard (because archers)
Adair (I can't think of a legit reason for this, honestly, but I would love to see these two interact)
The Master (employment opportunities)
The Guards (because revolutions and stuffs)
Alfrid (because they share an employer and yeah)

Also, can somebody steal her horse?
...just...for no other reason than I want to see Kleia go nuts...

Let's all pretend that Pip hasn't been completely useless; but always remember that I didn't forget this plot! I highly advise we all go forth and play the threads we want to play and post the links in this thread to collate into a large list later.

Threads requested:
Lythil/Master of Laketown
Tilda/ Sigrid
Tilda/ Bard
Bain/ Bard
Master/Bard's Family
Kleia/The Master

Castamir and Leander are more than welcome in this plot! Do you have any plotting preferences? Anybody in particular you want threads with?

I'll be sending out PM's to people with thread lists so they know who they have potential plotting with and what capacity they can take at the minute!

All I know is, if anyone wants Adair threads, bombard me with PM's and the threads shall be done!

In no particular order:
Bard/Bain (I don't think I need he needs to be with the whole family, just bard)
Adair/Bain , Adair/Oliver?
Lythil/Bain , Lythil/Oliver?
Guards/Bain , Guards/Oliver
Gard/Bain (didn't Gard sign up?) , Gard/Oliver
Master/Bain (and Family)

apologies for not making this clearer earlier, I don't know what I was thinking (probably wasn't ya know). =3 Hope this clears things up. (Also, I parcially blame Bain for not really know what was going on, and for me not telling him.) *is a really bad mama to her characters*
