Ithilien Ithilien is subject to raids by both Orcs and Haradrim. In T.A. 2901, the remaining population fled across Anduin and Gondor largely withdrew from the province, though the Stewards continue to keep scouts posted in the region.

South Gondor Lying south of Ithilien, South Gondor – known in Sindarin as Harondor – is now a largely deserted and war-torn land. Persistent invasions and raids by both the Corsairs of Umbar and the Haradrim have resulted in Gondor losing much of its control of the region, though it refuses to give up its claim.

Further Afield Other places of note in Gondor include Calembel, Erech (located close to the Paths of the Dead, this town has since been abandoned) and Tarnost.
